Backup and Restore
Backup of all files and databases on your server and shared drives, including SIMS and FMS when appropriate.
Backup of OneDrive and Sharepoint data for cloud server schools.
Documents can be restored back to a particular date within 90 days.

Service Specification
What's included
Backup of your PRIME / Simba server. File server (user documents and shares) and SIMS server (SIMS and FMS databases).
Schools on our Cloud Server solution get their SharePoint sites and staff/pupil OneDrive areas backed up.
Backup of additional servers upon request.
Backups are taken on the last day of each month and retained for 3 months on a rolling basis.
Backups are also taken daily and are retained for every day of the current month, and every day of the previous month, again on a rolling basis.
Daily monitoring of backups and resolution of errors.
Instant Data - Access to backed up files in the event of server failure if broadband connection is available using a virtual drive.
Reporting features to assist you with identifying areas of the server that are using an excessive amount of storage (on request).
Customer responsibilities
To report issues or potential faults to the Service Desk, via phone call or email, in order that the most appropriate action to resolve the problem is taken.
To provide appropriate information for the Service Desk Operator relating to the fault/issue including as necessary username and password details.
To communicate important service announcements to users within their school.
To maintain current and accurate MIS data within the school’s MIS system.
To maintain ICT facilities that meet the minimum specifications for operation of the backup software.
Inform ICT of any changes to backup requirements if alternative and / or additional data selection is required.
